Roy Aneed

Mr. Aneed is Co-Founder & CEO of Edge, where he oversees firm management and strategy, investment sourcing and portfolio monitoring. Prior to co-founding Edge, Mr. Aneed was a Managing Director and Partner at NGP Energy Capital (“NGP”). During his eight years at NGP, Mr. Aneed sourced, structured, executed, monitored and exited investments throughout North America. Mr. Aneed served on NGP’s Investment Committee, Investment Process Committee, Monitoring Committee, Evaluations & Strategy Committee and served as the Co-Head of NGP’s Business Development Committee, which oversaw NGP’s deal sourcing efforts. During his time at NGP, Mr. Aneed focused on deal sourcing in the Mid-Continent and Rocky Mountain regions and had earlier experience focusing on deal sourcing in Canada and East Texas. Mr. Aneed represented NGP on over 20 private boards. Mr. Aneed has been a featured speaker at industry conferences in Calgary, Denver and Tulsa and has been highlighted in several industry publications. Mr. Aneed is a member of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) in The Lone Star – Dallas Chapter. Prior to joining NGP, Mr. Aneed spent four years at Graham Partners, a private equity firm focused on middle-market industrial investments. Mr. Aneed started his career in the investment banking division of Citigroup in New York. Mr. Aneed received a B.S. in Economics, with concentrations in both Finance and Management, in 2001 from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
